About Me

Richard Fincke, BRE, MS, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in Trauma, Anxiety, Mood Disorders and ADHD. He works with individuals, couples and families. We recently moved our office location to a larger facility to better accommodate the programs we provide at Urgent Care Counseling and Trinity Neurofeedback. This new location allows us to provide better services in one convenient location. Our new location allows Richard and his staff to provide quality psychotherapy, Individual Therapy, Conjoint Couples Counseling, Small and Large family and Group Counseling. With the addition of Cindy Hanks and our team of Interns our new office facility allows for a comfortable and spacious setting for Professional Therapy to take place for all of our clients. We are located in the Heart of West Pasco County Just North of Main Street on Rowan Road, conveniently located for our clients who live in Trinity, Tarpon Springs, Hudson, Spring Hill, New Port Richey, Port Richey and Holiday, yet not too far for those seeking our services in the greater Tampa Bay Area. The new address is 6238 Rowan Road, New Port Richey, Fl. 34653. (In the same office complex as our previous office).

Richard is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Richard has over 30 years of experience in working with individuals, children, adolescents and adults in the community as a Clinical Case Manager for the homeless in Tampa Fl., in residential dual diagnosis programs with Volunteers of America of Florida as an Independent Living Counselor and Program Specialist and as an intern Counselor with BayCare Behavioral health and as a Clinician/ Discharge Planner for an In-Patient Psychiatric Hospital, and for over 30 years Richard has served as an Ordained Minister and Christian Counselor in various church ministries and youth centers. Richard's work experience has helped him to develop a vast expertise in working with families in distress, children with school and behavioral problems, Autism (Children and Adults), Learning Disabled Children, and working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety and depression. Richard is a family centered therapist and will encourage parent and sibling engagement in therapy sessions with children and adolescents when it is appropriate. When individuals have spouses or significant partners, Richard will allow the client to invite partners into sessions when it is therapeutically beneficial and desired by the client. 

 Richard is a trained provider of EEG Neurofeedback; a highly effective and most promising treatment.
